CGMI Joy & Harvest Center, Houston Texas began as a small bible study fellowship in late 2015 in the Katy apartment living room of Pastor Victor Ayodele. This small fellowship grew up to become a church. We are a branch church of a foremost global Pentecostal mission: The Church of God Mission Int’l with HQ in Benin City Nigeria (Founded by Archbishops Benson & Margaret Idahosa).

At CGMI Joy and Harvest Center, you will encounter genuine love, authentic fellowship, and a community committed to your spiritual growth. Here, you will be taught, inspired, and equipped not only to win in life’s encounters, but to lead with integrity, courage, and faith.

We believe every believer carries a God-given purpose. Our mission is to help you discover that divine calling, nurture it, and release you into your ministry within the body of Christ. We actively encourage and celebrate the expression of every believer’s unique gifts, knowing that the Church thrives when each member steps boldly into their role.

We are passionate about raising leaders and role models who will influence their homes, communities, and the nations for Christ. Through discipleship, mentorship, and practical ministry training, we develop men and women who lead by example, anchored in truth, driven by love, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

At CGMI Joy and Harvest Center, you will also be equipped to become a transformational leader, soul-winner and an effective witness for Christ, carrying the message of salvation with compassion and conviction, advancing God’s Kingdom by building people who will, in turn, build others.

  • OUR BELIEFS
  • We believe that the Holy Bible in its entirety is the inspired word of God and the only infallible rule of faith conduct.
  • We preach Christ’s birth, works, teachings, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, second coming, millennial reign, white throne judgment, new heaven and new earth.
  • We believe in the Divine Trinity. 2Cor. 13:14.
  • We believe in Repentance toward God. Acts 3:19.
  • We believe in Restoration. Lk.19:8,9.
  • We believe in Justification and Regeneration. Jn. 3:3
  • We believe in Sanctification (holiness). 1Thess. 4:3
  • We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and in the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Acts) and other gifts listed in 1Cor. 12 and Romans 12.8
  • We believe in divine healing and that healing is included in the atonement.
  • We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ as literal and visible as His first ascension to heaven. Acts 1:9-11.
  • We believe in Eternal Heaven and Eternal Hell. Rev. 14:10-11.
  • We believe in monogamy, that: marriage is binding for life, (Mk.19:9) and if the unbelieving partner departs, 1Cor. 7:15 applies.
  • We believe in water baptism by immersion. Acts 8:38,39.
  • We believe Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper and so should be observed. 1Cor. 11:23-24.
  • We believe in tithing to prove God’s power in supply. Mal. 3:7-10.
  • OUR MESSAGE
  • Hope, restoration, reconciliation and successfully discovering and fulfilling the plans and purposes of God for your life forms the bedrock of our message. We say it at every given opportunity, and on every platform available that Jesus came to save, heal and reconcile the lost, the broken, the oppressed, and the sick. We believe in the HOPE offered by God through Jesus and we present this hope through the message of the gospel or the good news. That no matter how far gone you are, God is willing to give you a new life and restoration. “…If your sins are blood-red, they’ll be snow-white. If they’re red like crimson, they’ll be like wool.” (Isaiah 1:18).
  • We preach forgiveness, salvation, peace for the troubled, and minister healing to the sick.
  • Our message emphasizes that Christ came to restore eternal life, peace, health, abundance, dignity and self-worth back to man.
  • We joyfully reach out through MISSIONS to people in our community, to connect them in FELLOWSHIP with other Christians, to help them grow in their faith through DISCIPLESHIP, and to inspire them as they are growing to discover their MINISTRY, equip them to fulfil it, and honor God with their life through WORSHIP.
