Rt. Rev. Kingsley Ewansiha encountered Christ and experienced the new birth reality at a CGMI service to which he was invited in the year 1981 in Benin City, Nigeria. During the service, the choir sang a song entitled, “Can Nobody Do Me Like Jesus” a song which ministered greatly to all his mentalities and totalities gearing him to make Jesus His Lord eternally in response to the altar call.
Following his salvation experience, he joined the new converts’ class where he was taught the elementary steps of following Jesus Christ. Thereafter, he joined the choir and other service groups in the church. In 1984, Bishop Kingsley Ewansiha received a unique call to a greater assignment in an encounter with Jesus Christ while doing a song with the choir entitled “awake and sing and let the heavenly joy bells ring”. Bishop knew immediately that this was a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. Like Prophet Isaiah, he answered here I am Lord, send me! He immediately enrolled in the All Nations for Christ Bible Institute, Nigeria, where he graduated and obtained a diploma in theology in 1986. Bishop Ewansiha also holds a diploma in information technology from the Institute of Data Processing Management, London; a B.Sc. honors degree in accounting, from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and several financial services licenses.
Shortly after his graduation from the bible school, he was anointed as an Assistant Pastor/Youth Pastor of Church of God Mission International, Amuwo, Lagos, Nigeria. He was officially ordained an Evangelist/Pastor by the archbishop, Rt. Rev. (Dr.) Benson A. Idahosa, the founding Archbishop of Church of God Mission International, in 1988. Bishop Kingsley Ewansiha pioneered the opening of many branches of the Church of God Mission (CGMI) International in Lagos, Nigeria.

He was consecrated a bishop by the presiding Archbishop of Church of God Mission International Her Grace, Rt. Rev. Dr. Margaret Idahosa, on August 7th 2021, to oversee the work of Church of God Mission in North America. He is also the founder and convener of ‘’Good Morning Jesus’’ prayer fellowship, an online prayer platform that reaches the nooks and crannies of North America, bringing in the light and reality of God’s word to families and birthing a daily early-morning-fresh-breath of life and direction to all its participants, while growing men and women, boys and girls in the foundation and towering strength of the nature of Christ as illuminated by the Holy Spirit, daily.
Through all these years and expansion, Bishop Ewansiha has been blessed by the very supportive partner, help-meet and gracious wife, the beautiful damsel, Rev. Mrs. Felicia Ewansiha who has been by his side since the 10th of August 1996.She is a dynamic practitioner of a divine mandate in her own right and a fruitful minister of the gospel of grace.
